The d.school at Stanford is "a hub for innovators." They believe that all students--regardless of area of study--should take an innovative approach to problem solving. The school promotes and requires collaboration, and believes problems can only be solved when human values are kept in mind.
The school defines students as any person of any age who comes to approach problems with a bias towards doing. They are put through cycles of exploration when trying to find any conclusion. The d.school website provides examples of real-world projects their students have contributed too, as well as ways of solving problems, some examples of which are shared below. |
